At Home Alone on a Friday Night

So it's Friday night, and my other half is out on a camping trip with a few of her girlfriends, and I am sitting in front of this machine. I took a look around at places to go tonight, but I am just not motivated. I believe I will have a few drinks and just hang out at home. I am hosting a party for my work associates tomorrow night so I figure that will be enough cold winter night air for one weekend.

I am appreciating the complete quiet in my house this evening, even though I would never want it to always be like this. It's amazing how when you can hear what you are thinking, things are just much more clear.
